Assalamoo Alaykoom. My name is Shirin Kakhramonova, and I am from Uzbekistan,

Tashkent. I was motivated by a desire to expand my education. I had numerous diplomas,

the most recent of which is a master's degree in nursing, where I met most of my board

members. I've always been interested in education and believe it is one of the most

effective tools available to help people succeed. My four children learned numerous

languages and are grammatically proficient. I questioned why other people were not

eligible for the same possibilities. Y et it was only myself with few impacts. Therefore, the

formation of a non-profit organization became achievable, and I was fortunate to share

my ambition with my board members. Here we go, we're all in this together to help you

achieve your educational goals.

Hello, my name is Andrea Ward and I bring over 15 years of experience in human

services with a strong focus on service delivery in team development. I hold a bachelor’s

degree in human services specializing in addiction and have recently earned a master’s

degree in nursing my journey in the field of substance abuse began as a con a role I

proudly helped for over nine years, during which I supported individuals in overcoming

an addiction in pursuing healthier lives. My diverse background allows me to approach

challenges with a unique perspective, combining my experience in human services,

counseling, and healthcare to foster a compassionate and solution-driven environment.

I’m deeply committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those we serve and

supporting our mission of community growth and empowerment.

MBA. Maricar has over 7 years of proven track record of expertise in

healthcare management and currently serves as the Director of Operations of a non-profit

Community Clinic and Pregnancy Center Resources in San Diego, CA. She holds

multiple certifications, including Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, Certified

Phlebotomy Technician, Certified EKG Technician, and Certified Billing & Coding

a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Management & Leadership.

Her areas of specialization include driving revenue growth and expansion, enhancing

patient satisfaction, and fostering employee loyalty. Maricar uses her positive attitude and

energy to encourage others to work tirelessly toward success. She is committed to

ongoing professional development, currently pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Business

Administration management.

Hello, my name is Alexis Romo, and I am from Perris, California. Growing up, I

witnessed the challenges children in underserved communities face, particularly when it

comes to accessing quality education. This experience motivated me to take action and be

a part of our nonprofit organization Unity of Education, which is dedicated to helping

students overcome these obstacles. I believe education is one of the most powerful tools

for change. Having personally experienced how education can shape a better future, I

understand the value of learning. This mission is close to my heart because I’ve seen how

limited resource access can hinder a child’s potential. That’s why I’m committed to

helping make education more accessible, not just for some, but for all children.

Together with our team, we aim to provide students with the support they need, from

educational supplies to mentorship and offer schools in rural areas the resources to ensure

every student has the chance to succeed.

Maryann King is honored to serve as a board member for Unity of Education, an organization dedicated to bringing education to children worldwide. Originally from Guyana and now residing in Houston, Texas, Maryann brings a unique perspective and a deep commitment to empowering young learners. With a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry earned during her undergraduate studies in Spain and Texas, followed by a Master’s in Nursing completed in Wisconsin, Maryann combines a strong academic background with a passion for fostering opportunities for others.

Inspired by her grandmother, a teacher who loved coaching speech and debate, Maryann has always valued the transformative power of education. Her grandmother’s tireless dedication to learning and her unwavering support—emotionally and financially—have shaped Maryann’s drive to make a difference. As a proud sister to two young sisters and a veteran brother, she understands the importance of a strong support system and hopes to extend this same encouragement to the children served by Unity of Education.

Beyond her professional and philanthropic endeavors, Maryann enjoys gardening, playing pickleball, learning foreign languages, exploring interior design, and pursuing real estate projects. She is thrilled to contribute her passion and skills to Unity of Education to help children around the world unlock their potential through health, education & business.
